Hi Katie!

Have had a loong sleepless workweek this week, kinda in a slump with other personal stuff too...stress, you know all that 'good stuff'. BUT you made my week because I just received my new order of Katie B products and I'm such a happy camper!!

Trying out two new eye pigments (wine and 'your hiness blue'). Did I tell you?? I loooooove your eyeshadows!! The pigment, texture and application is like no other. I'm definitely going to get the entire collection slowly but surely! lol I use and always liked MAC and Bare mineral shadows, but yours is better!!!

I got home late last night and what's the first thing I do? Open my package of Katie B goodies!! I washed my face off as usual before bedtime, but instead I had to 'devirginize' all my new products from you. LOL I'm trying your foundation stick for the first time. Wow, I've always used Zhen's foundation stick but yours is of a better consistency. Feels so good on like I have nothing on but the coverage is awesome! It's not sticky or goes on too thick and doesn't cake when it's humid. Love it as a concealer!!

What else? Refilled my dual powder, my absolute fave too, in Butter. I always needed a foundation to even out my skin tone. I always felt naked without base on, but I swear I could live with your dual powder compact alone. It's amazing! It doesn't sit on my skin like others do only to look like a cakey mask... instead it enhances my skin and makes it look like I have a peaches and cream complexion.

Thanks for the goodies!! I'm sooo loving them. And thanks for picking me some awesome colors on the freebies too.

I absolutely love the mintature lipgloss. I love how it feels on the lip and its coloring. You gave me pastel pink and at first I thought it would be too light and barbie-doll looking but it actually turned out very nice. Honestly I never thought any pink lip color would look good on asian skin but your pink lip colors totally changed my view. Funny thing is that now I'm starting to prefer lip products that are pink toned- but of course it'll only have to be from your fabulous collection! Your pinks look great on my asian skintone. It enhances the natural pink color and always gives me the perfect finishing look. I LOVE IT!!

The lip lacquers were sticky but the color is amazing. I'll just have to get used to its stickiness because I do love the coloring so I"m sure in time it'll become one of my favorites as well.

The shadow pigments are awesome! Great colors! I'm definately going to be making more purchases of these. I love how you can wear it naturally or enhance the color 100x just by applying it with a wet brush.

Katie, there's so much to rave about that I"m afraid I can go on and on and on. Just know that I'm a very, very, very satisfied customer. You've won my love and loyalty not only because you have the most amazing and best products but also because you're a genuine sweetheart whose friendliness and upbeat personality shines through via your work, products, and websites! Thanks for the comment. I absolutely love your make up. I love the eye pigments and the sugargloss and the mascara and the mineral foundation....geez I could go on for days about your makeup. I've tried so many different brands and I have to say that yours is the only one that hasn't caused me to break out. I usually use MAC (and I still do) but I prefer yours....THANK YOU!!!!!
As for pictures....hee hee hee...I'm kind of camera shy! Still got the pregnancy weight on me so....I don't really like the camera. Maybe I could get just the head shot of me in your makeup and I'll send it to you.

Body: Ever since I used your Great Skin Kit (since January), my skin has really improved! It reduces my chances of getting pimples. I love how the exfoliator really removes my dead skin and makeup. Also the toner smells great! It reduces the oil on my face gradually.

Your makeup wipes are also so incredible. After a long night of clubbing, all I wanna do is sleep and that is the first thing I reach for when I get home. Wipe and go to bed (after I brush of course haha).

I loveee your eyebrow kit! After hearing such great reviews, I was not at all hesitant to get it. I love how big the pot is and it really does adjusts to my eyebrows and fills in whatever spot I need.

The liner kit is just a miracle! After 8 hours, I only have to reapply once. Sometimes not even at all because it's dark enough for me already. The pot is also really big on this one. After two months, I still have 99% left and trust me when I say I use it every day!

My most recent purchase was the Mineral Shadow Burst in Moss Green. I loooove the color!! I'm also wearing it in the picture I mentioned above.

Overall, I just cannot live without your makeup!! I'm willing to spend over $100 for every purchase because your products are worth every penny! Katie, you are so amazing. I can't imagine anyone who can manage time like you: law school AND making products. You put up such a strong reputation for us minorities. I respect you so much for your time. You're such a sweetheart to take your time to answer every single question I've had. The next time you get some ridiculous messages, just remember that you're the one who've made a difference in many people's lives, not them. I wish the best for you in your successes and career and I can't wait to see what amazing products you have coming next.

i just received your lip lacquer, and a few of your shadow burst pigments.. and i was reading your site and it said that if we use the pigments wet, it'll make the colors more intense.. i was wondering how we would use it wet? do we use water? please email me back if you have the time! thank you!

Hey Katie!! I hope your week is going well. I got the stuff I ordered and everything is gorgeous!! It's so exciting when I order your makeup. haha. I was seriously looking out the window and watching for the mailman everyday. =) So I was there waiting when he came to the front door to drop off the package. He probably thought I was really creepy. :P The foundation/concealer stick is HUGE!! That thing is gonna last me forever. And I still have leftovers from the samples I ordered like a month ago.

The shadow burst pigments are gorgeous and really pretty. So shimmery and I love how the gold leaf changes colors depending on the light. And I'm really happy I got the moss green. It's such a vibrant and rich color. And the shadow burst pigments are sooo soft and nice on my eyelids. =) The lip shine and lip laquer are also beautiful and give that extra OOMPH! to my lips. YAY for big, sexy lips!! =) I can't wait to try the lashes for my bday. And it got delivered SOOO fast!!

Hi Katie! How are you doing?? I hope you had a great weekend. =) Sorry for the late email but I wanted to send you some pictures from my 22nd birthday. You can't see the makeup as well because the photos were kind of touched up but I absolutely loved the look your makeup gave me! I used your mineral foundation in G400, concealer in G500, and powder in Sandy. I also used your mineral burst pigments in Gold Ice, Gold Leaf, and Moss Green. Also your black liner set, Faux Lash mascara, flutter falsies in Bat' Em, mineral blush in Berry Pink, mineral lip liner in Neutral, lip shine in Love, and lip laquer in Hyacinth. They stayed put ALL NIGHT long!! Through dinner and at the club till I got home at 3 a.m. and took everything off! =D It was so nice to just relax, have fun, and not worry about my makeup coming off or smudging. I got so many compliments on my makeup! And my friends all know how much I LOVE makeup so they all got me makeup and GUESS WHAT?!?! I have to return ALL of them because they're from Sephora and Macy's and not from KATIE B! I just wanted to thank you because your products really made my birthday special. Some people might say that it's just makeup but you and I know what a difference great makeup can make. My boyfriend couldn't stop telling me how beautiful I looked and he was so happy that I was just enjoying myself and not constantly checking a mirror to see if my makeup had smudged. It was seriously the greatest birthday I've had yet! Next time I go out, I will definitely make sure to put more on though so they really show up in pictures. =) I will also be sending you pictures of me with your products on whenever I order more. I already have the items on my next shopping list picked out! But thank goodness I found you! Or you found me. haha. Because without your makeup, I would still be wasting time and money trying to find good quality makeup that actually does what it says it does! Also thanks again for your suggestions and advice. I NEVER thought I could pull off black liner, but your black liner duo makes my light green eyes really pop! I am also loving the rustic brown mineral pigment; it is so easy to use and such a gorgeous color. I also love the shadow base - as a Realtor and single mom of two, I need something that really locks my eye make up as I don't have the time to reapply and this does the job perfectly!
