Katie B.'s Makeup Wipes are a god sent!!!! I had placed my second order of Katie B. cosmetics before the holiday break (dual pressed powder, ultimatte, mineral foundation, another tube of mascara and makeup wipes). As much as oil based makeup removers work, they always irritated my eyes and skin. I just was never pleased with makeup removers, period. That was part of the reason why I never liked waterproof eyeliner and mascara. But since discovering & being hooked on Katie B's Faux Lash mascara, I knew I had to find a good oil based makeup remover. So I thought I'd try Katie's makeup wipes. Simply put, I'll never have to deal with oil based makeup removers again! It's everything the product description says and more!

I recently went on a two week trip to Asia. I won't get into what I think of TSA rules and regulations and the many checkpoints you have to go through to get to the gate. Granted, better safe than sorry. But I don't appreciate how these rules and regulations are so inconsistent...not to mention grumpy and impersonable. Hopefully, they're not all like that! Anyway, leaving from HNL to MNL they permitted a max of 3oz of any liquid in our carryons. At least the first two checkpoints did. Not until I got to the last checkpoint on our way to the gate. I had my bottles of face wash and toner in a ziplock bag in my handcarry so I could freshen up during the 11 hour flight. They basically confiscated them because although they were obviously less than 2oz, they were in a bottle labeled as "4 oz." so it didn't pass. I must have missed this when reading up on the rules, but c'mon ?!?!?!?!? I fought for it but they didn't let up. They said I could check it in, so I asked them to check it in for me. Sure, I was being a "queen b" at this point because they could have told me this at the first checkpoint so I could have checked it in! I was not about to walk back 2 miles from my gate to check it in only to miss my flight. Case and point, I was to be without my favorite facewash and toner for my entire trip. I can't get them over the counter. I thought great, I'm going to have to resort to using some face wash that will irritate my skin!

Thankfully, I had Katie's makeup wipes. I had used it purposely for removing my mascara. It was my only resort for removing the rest of my makeup. I was a bit afraid that it might irritate my skin. I have pretty sensitive skin, esp. when it comes to face wipes. But with Katie B's makeup wipes, my skin's been pretty pleased! I don't breakout the next morning, which tells me that the wipes do an outstanding job cleaning my face without drying or stripping it.

I love the fresh clean scent and the way it feels on the skin. Did I mention that the TSA took away my moisturizer too? I have combo skin, so moisturizer is a must. From my neck up, one wipe takes care of removing all of the makeup and grime from my face & leaving it clean, fresh & soft. Paired with your face scrub, I forgot what I was all upset about. ha ha ha

I also love that the towelettes are huge and not thin and skimpy like others on the market. It's a definite must have in your travel kit. I take it to work with me as well. I work late, so it's nice to remove makeup before I head home. It's also nice to have to freshen up and apply a fresh face of makeup before some Friday night fun. I had it with me through my entire two week trip and still have a good amount left to use. Because of the humid weather during my road trips, I used it on the rest of my body to freshen up during the day too.

I love it!!!! Y'all should give it a try if you haven't already!!

OMG Miss F! Strange as it might sound, but I call imagine your myspace pic as I am writing to you. Yes I remember everyone...well almost. But I remember you. Thank you for your beautiful post. I truly appreciate your time and effort. I am very sorry to hear about your travel boo hoo. I am not a fan of TSA either. Very inconsistent. I've heard horror stories about TSA taking away my mascara from my customers even when they're in ziploc bags. It's like...come on. What can a person do with mascara?!

Subject: Makeup Testimonial Part2

Body: Ever since I used your Great Skin Kit (since January), my skin has really improved! It reduces my chances of getting pimples. I love how the exfoliator really removes my dead skin and makeup. Also the toner smells great! It reduces the oil on my face gradually.

Your makeup wipes are also so incredible. After a long night of clubbing, all I wanna do is sleep and that is the first thing I reach for when I get home. Wipe and go to bed (after I brush of course haha).

I loveee your eyebrow kit! After hearing such great reviews, I was not at all hesitant to get it. I love how big the pot is and it really does adjusts to my eyebrows and fills in whatever spot I need.

The liner kit is just a miracle! After 8 hours, I only have to reapply once. Sometimes not even at all because it's dark enough for me already. The pot is also really big on this one. After two months, I still have 99% left and trust me when I say I use it every day!

My most recent purchase was the Mineral Shadow Burst in Moss Green. I loooove the color!! I'm also wearing it in the picture I mentioned above.

Overall, I just cannot live without your makeup!! I'm willing to spend over $100 for every purchase because your products are worth every penny! Katie, you are so amazing. I can't imagine anyone who can manage time like you: law school AND making products. You put up such a strong reputation for us minorities. I respect you so much for your time. You're such a sweetheart to take your time to answer every single question I've had. The next time you get some ridiculous messages, just remember that you're the one who've made a difference in many people's lives, not them. I wish the best for you in your successes and career and I can't wait to see what amazing products you have coming next.
